This is a rebuild kit for the very popular (and discontinued) Slimline Boxxer SL 2000 model fuel pump.
The Slimline pumps generally work very well, but after a period of time require new rollers and tubing since they are considered wear items.
This kit comes with 3 new precision CNC machined Delrin rollers, and 10” of peristaltic pump specific high grade silicone tubing. Enough parts for one pump assembly.
Simply disassemble the pump like shown in the pictures (typically 4 screws), and remove the old rollers and tubing. The disassembled pictures are of the old style rollers and tubing, the new tubing is clear/blue in color.
***PLEASE READ:
*** CLEAN the aluminum housing out with cotton balls or Q-tips to remove the debris from the old rollers before assembly. It is recommended to use a small amount of rubbing alcohol to clean the internal housing, as well as the shaft from the motor to ensure they are clean and oil free. These pumps/rollers rotate on friction alone with very tight tolerances and everything must be clean. We do not recommend using more than 12volts with these pumps, as the motor shaft could spin on the rollers and cause slippage/premature failure.***
