These are VERY similar to the Grimracer style cowl locks that are no longer available….
This is the first of a limited run to see how they do.
Simply push the lock into the steel clip and it locks into place. A 1/4 turn will release the lock. The lock is held in place with a rubber o-ring. Perfect for a lightweight hydro cowls.
***Please note that this mount requires the end user to fabricate your own bracket to the hold the clip in place. We also offer a pre-fabbed bracket (available separately) that has the clip installed already. Every application is different and it would be impossible to have the correct bracket size/shape/offset for every boater, so we are leaving it up to you***
